Ryken's been saying mama since he was about 5 months old. Obviously, he wasn't associating me with the word yet, but it still counts as his first word right? So the other day I look at him and say "Ma-ma. Say Ma-ma." He looks at me with his big eyes, smiles and says "da-da." That's the thanks I get? Spending time with him 24/7, giving him undivided attention (except when blogging, of course) and he now insists on saying dada? I guess I shouldn't complain. He loves it when Rob comes home and that gives me a break. We have this little ride on car thing that sounds like a fire truck, and yesterday Rob sat Ryken on it and pushed him all around the house. He was having so much fun, and always loves spending time with his daddy.

Lisa all of my children said dada first, way before mama. It's just not fair.
Man I can't take how cute he is!!
Oh you just wait until he's like "Mommy...Mommy...Mommy" for no reason and then you'll be telling him to go call Daddy! :)
